Youth Activities at RECS

Pickleball is a sport for all ages. And we're seeing, more and more in our club, a very wide range of player ages. We are very pleased to share that we have added Summer Camp offerings specifically for "junior pickleballers".

We have weekly and daily options for Beginner, Intermediate and advanced pickleball players, for ages 7 to 18 in the summer time.

If you haven't yet, be sure to create your Court Reserve account and add your child as a family member. Call 503-655-PLAY or email and we can assist you with questions or assistance in registering!

Help sponsor a kid for summer camp at RECS! Through our non-profit arm, we will be running camps next summer for kids from low-income families, and they need your help!

Click the button below to start your donation and instantly receive your tax deducitble reciept. $50 is the suggested donation ($129 sponsors a camper for the whole week!)

Beginners: For those who haven't played pickleball, or are still learning the rules and any of the pickleball basics - serving, returning of serve, how to hold a paddle, etc then this is the camp for them! Everyday will include the introduction of new concepts and techniques, as well as some repetition of basic skills.
Intermediate: For those who HAVE played pickleball before, and understand the rules and pickleball basics - serving, returning of serve, how to hold a paddle, etc, and are looking to get to the next level, then this is the clinic for them! Every day will include the introduction of new concepts, techniques and strategy, as well as critical skill and technique development.

Lil' Dinkers: (Ages 7-9) For Lil' Dinkers camp, the primary sport will be pickleball, but we'll be using other games and sports for the purpose of skill development, learning basic rules, but mostly HAVING FUN!

Youth Private Lessons

Most of our instructors are open to book for youth private lessons. These are scheduled like any other private lesson through court reserve, following the same instructions of attaching a "child" to your family account. If you need help or have any questions, you can always give us a call!
