Membership Info for Clackamas and Tualatin!
9/4/2025

Dear RECS Members, Partners & Friends,
It’s hard to believe that it’s been just over four years since we signed a lease and rolled the dice to open a club in a 22,000 square foot building with 9 dedicated pickleball courts – an anomaly at the time, not just locally, but nationally. Since we opened our doors in January 2022, it’s been quite a ride! Many of you have been with us since those early days, and some of you joined more recently, but regardless of when you found us and became a part of this special community, please allow me this moment to THANK YOU for contributing to making our club and our culture what it is today!
Although we were the first indoor pickleball club locally, we always knew that you’d have other choices at some point. Pickleball is just too darn addictive and fun! The demand for more places to play would lead to more courts, whether in outdoor parks or private indoor clubs. Our plan has always been to add more RECS locations to continue creating opportunities to foster individual wellness and build community. That time has finally arrived with our 2nd location in Tualatin opening this fall.
The new club will allow us to put into play Court Reserve’s new “network membership” capability. In short, a network membership requires you to choose a primary club location, where the membership holder will enjoy a longer booking window and other favorable terms. But it will also grant the membership holder the ability to access other clubs in the RECS network at more favorable terms than if they were a “Visitor.”
We are excited to (finally!) share official information about our updated annual membership offerings and terms, both for Clackamas and Tualatin.
The Clackamas membership cycle will begin on Oct. 1, available for pre-purchase no later than 9/10. For Tualatin, everyone will start as a special “Soft Launch” Visitor (with "try before you buy" introductory terms) for the first few weeks after our doors open (exact date TBA), with the new memberships officially kicking in after our Grand Opening (exact date TBA). Current Clackamas annual members who wish to make Tualatin their primary club will be contacted with instructions on how to do so a few days before the general public has the chance to pre-purchase an annual Tualatin membership.
At Clackamas, there will be two membership options: Premier, andPremier Access which is replacing ‘Premier Plus’ and will be the network membership option.
At Tualatin, there will be one membership option, also a network membership: Premier Access.
Both clubs will continue to have a 'Visitor' class of membership. Only Clackamas will have a 'Fitness Benefit' membership for those over 65 using their insurance benefits.
A few important pieces of information:
- We have simplified the hourly pricing by eliminating prime time pricing.
- Currently active 'Premium' and 'Premium Plus memberships' will run the 12-month with existing terms if the member does not choose to upgrade to the Premium Access network membership.
- Any changes to Fitness Benefit terms for 2026 have not yet been determined (due to ongoing negotiations with Optum and American Specialty Health).
- Network memberships are Individual memberships only.
Lastly, please note that we are finalizing the FAQ ahead of making any memberships available for pre-purchase. Our staff has the same information that you have here. It is a priority for us to provide more clarity around your options so you can make an informed decision.
The updated annual membership options at Clackamas and new membership for Tualatin are as follows:

Stay tuned for the next update. We are so appreciative and humbled that you have chosen to be a part of the RECS community of "Inspiring Good Sports". We are thrilled to always provide a positive club environment and experience for you!
Oh, one last thing -- we never charge an initiation fee.
Sincerely,
Kevin Richards
